Where do I pick up the charter boat?
The charter boats are handed over directly at our marina.

Where do I return the charter boat?
The boat must be returned to the same location where it was handed over.
Do I need to carry my Lake Constance boating license?
Yes. You must carry the original Lake Constance Boat License (Bodenseeschifferpatent) during your rental.
Which boating license is required on Lake Constance?
You need a Lake Constance Boat License (Category A).
If you do not hold a Bodenseeschifferpatent, please contact the Shipping Authority in Friedrichshafen (Schifffahrtsamt Friedrichshafen) to check whether your boating license is recognized.
Are there any cleaning fees?
No.
However, if the boat is returned excessively dirty or in a condition that makes it unsuitable for the next rental, an additional cleaning fee of €50 will be charged.
What is the fuel policy?
We operate on a Full-to-Full policy.

If the boat is not returned with a full tank, the fuel costs plus an additional €80 (incl. VAT) service fee will be charged.

The marina is only a few minutes' walk from the parking garage.
Are the boats fully insured?
Yes. All licensed motorboats are covered by comprehensive insurance.
A security deposit is required before departure. The deposit amount depends on the size of the boat and can be paid:

How many people can the boat accommodate?
Depending on the boat, between 7 and 8 people.
What do I need for water skiing, wakeboarding or towing fun toys?
A clear mind and good judgment!
We provide the following equipment (rental fees may apply):

Do I have to clean the boat before returning it?
Yes. Please return the boat in the same clean condition as when you received it.
If the boat is returned dirty, an additional cleaning fee of €40–€80 (incl. VAT) will apply.
Can I listen to music on board?
Yes.
A Bluetooth sound system is available for €30 (incl. VAT) per rental.
What happens if I return the boat late?
A late return fee of €10 per minute will be charged.

Can I reschedule my booking at short notice?
Yes, if weather conditions make it unsafe or unreasonable for us to hand over the boat.

Only light-colored, non-marking rubber-soled shoes are permitted on board.

Which boats can be operated without a boating license?
All pedal boats and motorboats with engines up to 6 HP (horsepower).

Yes. All boats are covered by third-party liability and comprehensive insurance.
How many people can the boats accommodate?
Depending on the boat, between 4 and 8 people.
Can I listen to music on board?
Yes.

What happens if I return the boat late?
A late return fee of €5 per minute will be charged.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?
Usually not.
We trust our guests to return the boat clean and undamaged.
However, if we consider it necessary based on the situation, we may require a refundable security deposit of €200 (incl. VAT), which will be returned once the boat is handed back in proper condition.
